Dave Mickelson
Vice President
After 22 years in the Air Force, I came to Spring Hill, Florida with my family. While in the Air Force, I graduated from Baylor University, College of Arts and Sciences in 1985. For the last 25 years in Hernando County, I have been fortunate enough to have worked with troubled youth as a probation officer and foster children/families as a Foster Care Counselor through Department of Children and Families. After 13 years, I went to work with teen victims of Domestic Violence at The Spring of Tampa Bay, and then while in the area, I worked with the homeless and hungry at Metropolitan Ministries. Then I was off to St. Petersburg to PARC where I worked with individuals with disabilities. While in the Tampa area, I entered the grant writing/fundraising arena. I returned to Hernando County working with the ARC Nature Coast. I am a graduate of The Chamber of Commerce Leadership Hernando Class of 2008. I am retired and glad to be on the NAMI Team!
Anne Marquis - NAMI Hernando
Anne Marquis
Secretary
Anne worked her entire career as an Administrative Assistant. Her last job entailed many other aspects of business, i.e. human resources, Worker’s Compensation, Assistant Safety Director as well as Recording Secretary for the company Safety Committee, wrote company newsletters and planned and coordinated events and meetings.

Retiring to Spring Hill in September 2009 with her husband Dennis and son Justin, they “found” NAMI several years ago and since then have all been active members/volunteers. Anne was asked to join the NAMI Board of Directors, and was then appointed Recording Secretary due to her previous experience.

I am proud to be associated with NAMI, a group of individuals who really KNOW and SHOW that education, awareness and hope are needed to make advancements in the field of mental illness and take away the stigma that sometimes shadows and hinders recovery for those who suffer and their family and loved ones.

I've lived in Michigan, California and came to Florida in 1991. I've been a full time realtor/associate since 1993 and work for Preferred Property Associates in Hernando/Pasco counties.
